This homeowner was suffering from freezing cold floors and wanted a solution that would fix this problem and restore his peace of mind. We sent our home comfort specialist to the home and evaluate what method would work best for this unique home. Our specialist, Lukas found that underneath the addition of the home had no insulation and was not properly air-sealed. The combination of both of these resulted in leaky, unwanted air getting into the space below, affecting the overall temperature above. Our team was quick to arrive and help this family! Our team installed SilverGlo boards that were secured to the ceiling of the space underneath. Our team air-sealed between the boards with ZypFoam and thoroughly ensured that any air penetrations in the space would no longer allow unwanted air into the space. The combination of insulating and air-sealing the space decreases the chances of the floors above causing discomfort to the family. No more uncomfortable home for these owners!

Basement 2-Beautiful!

Prior to the arrival of our team of insulation experts, this basement was poorly insulated which left this home to become very uncomfortable. We sent one of our highly trained home comfort specialists to evaluate the basement area to provide the best possible solution in order to improve the overall performance of the home. It was discovered during the evaluation that the walls were not properly air-sealed, most of the exterior walls were not insulated and there was fiberglass insulation that was poorly insulating the space.

Our team of expert insulators went straight to work to help make this home more comfortable! The first step our expert team of insulators did was to remove and dispose of all of the old batt fiberglass that was in the walls. After the removal, they then air-sealed the entire space with sprayfoam to ensure that any and all possible and easily accessible air penetrations were sealed off from any unwanted or leaky air. Our team of experienced insulators then installed Basement 2-Beautiful Insulation Boards along all of the walls in order to properly insulate the space!

We were happy to be the right team of insulation experts to fix this uncomfortable home and restore peace of mind for these homeowners!
