When these homeowners called us here at Global Dwelling, they knew that we were the right team of insulation contractors to fix their uncomfortable rooms! They wanted the attic spaces above rooms in their house to be upgraded with an insulation method that would solve their problem. Their concern with their attic was that it was not maintaining their desired temperature for the rooms located below the space. They exclaimed that no matter what they did, the rooms were too warm in the summer, and too cold in the winter. We quickly sent our team of home insulation contractors to the home so that they could start the process of upgrading the insulation method in the concerning attic space. Our experts first started by removing and clearing out all of the old batt fiberglass insulation, as well as all of the debris in the space. Once completed, our experts then insulated the exposed slopes with Foamax board. Then these boards were air-sealed and further sealed with vapor barrier tape. Our home attic insulation contractors then insulated the kneewall so that the cold or warm air from the outside would no longer be affecting the rooms below it. 

 

Once our experts were finished with this install project, the customers were more than happy! They couldn't wait to have the temperature they desired the most in those rooms for this upcoming winter season!

Mrs. W called us here at Global Dwelling with concerns about certain parts of her home that were either too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. She wanted us to send out one of our highly trained home comfort specialists to run a home energy audit to find where the problems in these rooms were coming from. Our home comfort specialist arrived at her home and thoroughly evaluated all parts of the home and found that certain parts in the attic space above the rooms of the home were not properly insulated. We gave Mrs. W the best possible solution on how we could fix her problem and ensure that her home will no longer have uneven dispersed temperatures. 

 

We sent our team of highly trained home attic insulation contractors to her home so that we could restore her peace of mind. We first started by removing all of the existing old fiberglass insulation in the area and clearing it of any debris that would get in the way of our attic air-sealing process. Our experts then went in and thoroughly air-sealed with ZypFoam and enclosed all of the pathways that were once letting in leaky and unwanted air. Once the air-sealing was completed, our experts then insulated two kneewalls in two areas in the attic that were above the rooms causing the most discomfort. Our experts insulated the kneewalls with Foamax boards that were air-sealed, taped, and nailed together to ensure that they were secured to the area. 

 

With the kneewalls properly insulated, this attic space will no longer lose energy or allow unwanted air to get into the home! Mrs. W can now relax knowing her home will no longer have unevenly heated/cooled rooms.
