Improving Overall Comfort in Newburgh, NY

When Mr. A first called us here at Global Dwelling, he told us that he was experiencing a very uncomfortable home and knew that his home needed to be improved. We sent one of our highly trained home comfort specialists to the home to find where his major problem area was. Our specialist found that the attic was poorly insulated with old insulation that was no longer keeping the heat in the home, becoming a direct link to why Mr. A's heat was always running.

Our team of insulation experts was quick to arrive at the home and begin the upgrade process. They began by first removing and disposing of the old batt fiberglass insulation previously used to insulate the home. Once the attic was clear, our experts were ready to air-seal with ZypFoam. Using ZypFoam for the attic air-sealing ensures that all of the once easily accessible air penetrations no longer allow leaky or unwanted air! Lastly, our team blew in 18 inches of cellulose which will settle to 16 inches and insulate the home up to an R-value of 60!

This home is now well-insulated and properly air-sealed! These homeowners will now have more peace of mind for this cold season!
