Attic Insulation for Mr. D

This homeowner in Greenville, NY wanted us to come out to their home and help find out why the energy bills they were receiving were so high! During the evaluation, our Specialist, Mak Long, found that the attic was poorly insulated with old fiberglass insulation that was no longer keeping in or retaining heat, which was the direct link to the loss of energy! We quickly sent our team of insulation experts to the home to help fix this uncomfortable home!

Upon the arrival of our insulation experts, the first step they completed was to remove and dispose of all of the old insulation in the attic. Once removed our team was then able to thoroughly air-seal the attic with ZypFoam. Our team uses ZypFoam because once applied, it expands and closes off any leaky or unwanted air! After the attic air-sealing, our experts were then ready to properly insulate the attic with our premier method of insulation, blown-in cellulose! Our team blew in up to 18 inches of cellulose which will settle to 16 inches and provide an R-value of 60. Not only is our method known to keep and retain energy, but it is also known to be both energy-efficient and cost-effective! We were happy to help this family lower the costs to heat and cool their home!
