Mr. C called us with an uncomfortable home. he felt as though he was paying to heat any and everywhere besides the inside of his home. We assured him that he was speaking with the right team! We set up an in home comfort evaluation with a home comfort specialist. Our specialist found many air leaks and made some helpful alternative insulating method suggestions that we would happily install. Mr. C went ahead and agreed to improve the overall comfort of his home by choosing us as his insulating experts!
Mr. C's main goal was to make rooms warmer in winter and be more cost and energy efficient in general. Our main goal is and always will be to help our homeowners find comfort in their homes. We began by doing so for Mr. C by insulating his attic floors. We use blow-in cellulose and dense pack it into the floors to insulate flooring. This method is effective and efficient. We also insulated his crawlspace. We installed a drainage matt with a vapor barrier encapsulation system. This allows for the crawlspace to avoid flooding while still being properly insulated which it wasn't prior to our arrival. Our insulating experts also insulate the rimjoists and walls with spray foam to properly air seal while insulating.
