We upgraded the insulation in this attic in Delhi, NY by doing what we do best! The first step in finding what solution was going to work best for this home, we sent one of our highly trained and experienced home comfort specialists, Lukas Segota, to evaluate the home. During the evaluation, Lukas found that the attic was poorly insulated and lacked proper air-sealing, he provided Mr. C with the best possible solution on how we could help improve his home.
When our team first arrived, they began by removing and disposing of any leftover debris in the attic space. Once finished, the space was then ready to be thoroughly air-sealed by our experts with ZypFoam. Our team of insulation contractors used the ZypFoam to seal off any once easily accessible air penetrations in the space so there would no longer be any leaky or unwanted air. After the attic air-sealing was completed, our experts were then ready to insulate the home with our premier method, blown-in cellulose! Our method will not only bring the home to an R-value of 60 but also provide energy efficiency so the home's overall performance would be improved. Mr. C now has his peace of mind restored knowing that his home is no longer poorly insulated and the rooms will be warmer this winter!
We just recently completed a full Crawlspace Encapsulation in Delhi, NY. Our production team went in blazing to get the job done, and pushed through some slight challenges to complete a 3 day job in 1 day.
