Not another inefficient attic insulation system!

Ms. D called us with concerns about her extremally high energy bills. She felt as though she was quite literally burning her hard earned money on heating and cooling the parts of her home that were not the livable spaces. Our home comfort specialist made a visit to her home to evaluate it from top to bottom. Our specialist found many areas in and around the attic that cool or warm air was finding easy to penetrate. The specialist also determined that the matted down, outdated fiberglass insulation was a great cause of insulation inefficiency.

Upon her project day, our team of insulation experts arrived and began by removing all of the old, dirty, and molded batt insulation. They then air sealed all of the easily penetrable areas, like top plates, with Zypfoam. The next step in the upgrading insulation process is to air seal and insulate the attic's scuttle cover. Our experts air seal the area with Zypfoam. They then install the Silverglo board to insulate the surface area of the scuttle hatch. Then a landing platform was installed as well as the dam walls. The last step is to blow-in the fluffy and warm cellulose! We insulate all the way up to R-60 which performs well over leading insulation methods like less effective batt insulation in this case.

Today we are happy to have assisted Ms. D from the beginning of her home evaluation all the way through her project installation day. She has now found comfort and peace of mind being more cost and energy efficient!

Unevenly heated rooms can cause high energy bills! Why is this happening?

Mr. R reached out to us concerned about the high energy bills and unevenly heated, uncomfortable living situation he was experiencing. When we asked some questions and dove deeper we found the issue that is more common than you would think! Mr. R had told us it feels as though some rooms in his home were significantly cooler than others. The first thing we wanted to do was get one of our highly recommended home comfort specialists to his home for a proper evaluation. Upon arrival our home comfort specialist found that the rooms above Mr. R's crawlspace were most defiantly much colder than any other area throughou8t the home. Mr. R trusted our home comfort specialist and went ahead and agreed with having his home insulation upgrade project done by us!

Upon installation day, Our team arrived and got right to work. They started by removing all old insulation from the crawlspace ceiling. It was moldy and very outdated like most homes we see! Next, we installed a drainage mat and encapsulation system. This allows for proper air sealing and insulation while still allowing the moisture to be depleted. Our crew also did some mold prevention using a mold cleaner! They then air sealed and insulated the rim joists with silverglo board and Zypfoam. Our team of insulation experts also insulated Mr. R's superkneewall! They did so by installing foamax boards on the slope and walls and air sealing with Zypfoam to assure an air tight insulating process.

Upon completion Mr. R is very pleased with is insulation upgrade. He couldn't be happier with the instant results he experienced!

Attic Insulation for Mr. W

Before our highly trained team of insulation experts arrived at Mr. W's home, it was very uncomfortable, which was disturbing Mr. W's peace of mind. He was suffering from high-cost energy bills as well as an energy-inefficient home. Our experts wanted to tackle and fix the un-comfortability that Mr. W was feeling in his own home as soon as possible.

When our home comfort specialist arrived at the home to provide our very thorough home comfort evaluation, it was discovered that Mr. W's attic was poorly insulated. The first step our team of experts took in order to fix Mr. W's home was to remove any old batt insulation in the area. The old fiberglass insulation was no longer providing energy-efficient insulation for his home, which was resulting in high-cost energy bills. Our team of highly trained insulation experts then air sealed the entire space with ZypFoam, to ensure that any possible air penetrations would no longer be accessible in the area. Lastly, our team of insulation experts then upgraded the insulation in the attic by using our warming upgraded insulation method, "Blown-In" TruSoft cellulose!

Mr. W was very satisfied with the work that was done with his attic space, he immediately noticed a difference in his home. Mr. W will now have better peace of mind knowing that his energy bills will be more cost-effective and his home will be now more energy efficient. Thank you Mr. W from our team here at Global Dwelling!

Attic Insulation for Mr. S

We sent out one of our highly trained home comfort specialists to evaluate his home and see where he was losing the most energy. It was discovered that the attic was poorly insulated and needed an upgrade insulation method.

When our team of experienced insulation experts arrived, the first thing they did was remove and dispose all of the old batt fiberglass insulation. Our team then air sealed the entire space with Zypfoam to completely close any accessible points of air penetration. Our team then upgraded the attic space with our cost and energy efficient blown-in cellulose! This was a great method for Mr. S to choose, our method of insulation insulates up to a R-60 value!

Mr. S saw an almost immediate difference in his energy bills in the months to follow. He no longer fears receiving his monthly energy bills.

Crawlspace Encapsulation

Prior to our expert team of insulators' arrival, this crawlspace was causing the homeowners to experience cold feet in the freezing winter months. The drafty floors were disrupting the homeowner's peace of mind and were no longer making their home comfortable. Our home comfort specialist provided a very thorough home comfort evaluation to find the best plan possible in order to fix the home. Upon discovery, it was found that the crawlspace was poorly insulated with old batt fiberglass insulation and was not properly air sealed.

Our team of insulation experts began with removing and disposing all of the poorly insulated fiberglass insulation and removed all of the debris out of the area. Our team then insulated all exterior walls with foamax board that was sealed together with vapor barrier tape. A total clean space encapsulation system was then installed into the crawlspace area. The first part in the system is a drainage matt, that is then covered by a vapor barrier and sealed together by vapor barrier tape. The system is then complete, and significantly air seals the space.

This crawlspace is now well-insulated and provides insulation that will decease the feeling of cold and drafty floors for the homeowners in the upcoming winter months!

Total Clean Space Encapsulation System for Mr. S

Before our team of expert insulators arrived at this home, this crawlspace was moldy and was suffering from moisture that was seeping into the area. These homeowners knew to call the right team of expert insulators! We sent one of our highly trained and experienced home comfort specialists to thoroughly evaluate the home to find the best plan possible on how to fix the home's energy inefficiency.

Our team was quick to upgrade this space so that the homeowners did not have to suffer from cold feet this upcoming winter. Our team first started by clearing out all of the existing old batt fiberglass insulation as well as mats that were previously used for protection against moisture penetration. Our team of experienced insulators then insulated the area with Foamax boards and air sealed between them with ZypFoam. They then laid down a drainage matt that had a vapor barrier placed on top in order to create a total clean space encapsulation. The system was then sealed together with vapor barrier tape to ensure all points of penetration were closed. The combination of both the drainage mat and the vapor barrier diminishes moisture mitigation in the area.

These homeowners can now have peace of mind knowing their feet will be nice and warm this winter!

New Upgraded Crawlspace Encapsulation for Mr. G!

When Mr. G called us, he had concerns about his floors being cold during the winter. We sent one of our highly trained home comfort specialists to his home to perform a home comfort evaluation in order to see where his major problem areas were. Our home comfort specialist found that the crawlspace under his home was poorly insulated and needed to be upgraded.

The main priority of our team of expert insulators was to fix Mr. G's problem in his home and restore his peace of mind. First, our team removed all of the old batt fiberglass insulation and debris in the space. Our team then insulated all exterior walls in the space with SilverGlo which were air-sealed with ZypFoam. They then went in and started the installation of the new total clean space encapsulation system. The system is a drainage matt that is placed first and sealed to a vapor barrier with vapor barrier tape. The combination of both the drainage mat and the vapor barrier diminishes moisture mitigation in the area.

Mr. G can now be more comfortable in his own home with evenly warm floors this upcoming winter! We were more than happy to be the right team of insulation experts to upgrade Mr. G's crawlspace!

Reducing High Energy Bills for This Home!

When Mrs. P initially called us, she had significant concerns with the overall performance of her home. She believed that her house was becoming increasingly inefficient in energy as it was starting to reflect in her energy bills that were becoming high-cost. We sent one of our highly trained home comfort specialists to perform a home energy audit to fully evaluate the home and find where all of her problem areas were. Upon the evaluation of the home it was discovered that her attic was poorly insulated with old fiberglass insulation that needed to be removed and replaced with an upgraded method of insulation.

Our team of insulation experts was quick to fix her uncomfortable home in order to restore her peace of mind. The first step our team took to fix the home was to remove and dispose of all of the old batt fiberglass insulation that was in the attic area. They then thoroughly air-sealed the space with ZypFoam to ensure that all and any easy and accessible air-penetrations were sealed from allowing any leaky or unwanted air in the space! After our experts air-sealed the space they then upgraded the space with our premier method of insulation, blown-in cellulose. This upgraded method of insulation was a great choice for this attic space because not only does it insulate up to an R-value of 60, it is known to be both cost-effective and energy-efficient!

After upgrading Mrs. P's attic space, she almost immediately noticed a difference in temperature in her home and was sure she was going to see a difference in her bills as well. We are more than happy to be the right team of experts to help fix her uncomfortable home!

No More Worrying for these Homeowners!

Mrs. B and Mr. D called our office here with major concerns about their home's overall performance. They had worries because even with the air conditioners running all of the time, their house still didn't feel cool enough. Mrs. B said that she knew she needed a home energy audit to show her where all of her problem areas were. During the audit, our experts found that their attic space was not properly insulated which was a direct link to why the home started to underperform. The home's energy inefficiencies were becoming an increasing problem, it was reflected in their monthly energy bills!

We sent our best insulation contractors to their home to restore their peace of mind and they were quick to start fixing the uncomfortable home! Our experts started by removing and disposing of all of the old batt fiberglass insulation in the attic space and then air-sealed. Our experts do what most companies don't, and that starts with our air-sealing process. We like to thoroughly air-seal all of the easily accessible air penetrations in the space so that any unwanted or leaky air doesn't get the chance to easily pass through the space. Once the air sealing is complete, we then have our experts insulate the attic with a nice warming, fluffy, blanket of blown-in cellulose!

Mrs. B and Mr. D let us know that once their project was completed they noticed an almost immediate difference in their home! They had the air conditioning unit running for a short period of time and once they turned it off it their home continued to stay cool! We are more than happy that we were the right team of insulation contractors to fix their uncomfortable home!

No More Cold Feet for Homeowner in Bloomville, NY!

We know that cold floors can be very uncomfortable, so when Mrs. H told us about the concerns she had with her home we completely understood and sent one of our highly trained home comfort specialists to her home to evaluate why her floors were so unbearably cold. Our home comfort specialists provided a very thorough evaluation of the crawlspace below her home and found that the ceiling of the space was not properly insulated and the floor in the area was damp from having no barrier from moisture.

Our experts arrived quickly to fix this uncomfortable home and restore peace of mind for Mrs. H! Our team first started by removing all of the old insulation that was in the ceiling and insulating all of the rim joists with sprayfoam. Insulating the rim joists will allow the home to keep in the heat and block out any unwanted drafts that may have been a direct link to the freezing floors. We then started the crawlspace encapsulation process so that the space would have moisture control and no longer become damp. We first started by laying down a drainage matt that was secured together by vapor barrier tape that was then layered with a vapor barrier to mitigate moisture, both of these were secured together by vapor barrier tape. The combination of both of these completes our total clean space crawlspace encapsulation system that will ensure that the space no longer becomes prone to becoming damp and smelly from mildew!

We are more than happy that we were able to help fix this uncomfortable home for Mrs. H and restore her peace of mind. She will now enjoy her winter season without worrying about her feet becoming unbearably cold!
