Before our experts arrived, Mrs. R was using her attic space for light storage and complained that every time she would go upstairs to store something, her attic would be so uncomfortable she couldn't bear it. We sent our home comfort specialist to evaluate the space and provide her with the best possible solution. Our specialist found that Mrs. R needed her attic space upgraded with a more energy-efficient method of insulation. Our insulation experts were quick to arrive! Our team first began by removing and disposing of all of the old batt fiberglass insulation. Once the space was cleared, our experts thoroughly air-sealed the attic with ZypFoam so there was no longer any unwanted or leaky air. Once the attic air-sealing was completed, our experts then installed a super platform so that Mrs. R could easily store her personal belongings. Once finished it was time to upgrade the attic with our premier method of insulation! Our experts blew in up to 18 inches that will settle to 16 inches and insulate the home up to an R-value of 60!

Our experts first began by installing SilverGlo boards on a kneewall section that was in the space. Once they installed the boards, our experts then air-sealed the boards with ZypFoam so no leaky or unwanted air would be able to get through! Once the kneewall was properly insulated, our experts were then ready to blow in our premier method of insulation, TruSoft cellulose! Our team of experts blew in up to 18 inches of cellulose which will settle to 16 inches and insulate the home up to an R-value of 60!
