Insulation Services Case Studies: Basement Insulation in Prattsville, NY

Challenge

Mrs. Whiteley was referred to Global Dwelling by the NYSERDA program.  Mrs. Whiteley is in the process of remodeling her home and needed some help with insulating and sealing her basement to convert to liveable space.  During the inspection, our auditor Jeffrey noticed the extensive water system that Mrs. Whiteley had installed in her home.

When doing basement walls, typically we cover and insulate everything we can.  However in this case, insulating the system would only cause not only problems for the install team, but the customer as well if something were to go wrong.

Solution

Working together, Jeff and our Production Team were able to come up with a plan on how to insulate everything around the system to the best of our ability.  We still wanted to be able to achieve the results and comfrotability that we promised the customer, and at the same time keeping everything easy and accessible.
