Crawlspace Encapsulation in Hurley, NY

This home had freezing cold floors before the arrival of our insulation experts! We sent our team of highly trained insulation contractors to the home to help restore peace of mind for this family. 

Upon the arrival of our experts, the first step they completed was to remove and dispose of all of the insulation that was in the crawlspace ceiling. Once removed, our experts then installed SilverGlo boards in the rim joists and air-sealed them with ZypFoam. Our team then insulated the exposed exterior walls with Foamax boards that were also air-sealed with ZypFoam and further sealed with vapor barrier tape. In order to ensure that this space would no longer allow outside elements to get into the space and affect the overall temperature, our experts installed our GoldSeal Encapsulation System. Our team first laid down a drainage matt that was secured with vapor barrier tape. Our experts then completed the system by laying our vapor barrier with GoldSeal on top and securing both the vapor barrier and matt together with vapor barrier tape. This space will is no longer the direct link to the freezing cold floors above thanks to our experts who insulated and encapsulated this space!
