When these homeowners called us they wanted a solution to the freezing cold floors they were experiencing! We were quick to send our expert team of crawlspace insulators to help this family and restore their peace of mind. Our team first started by insulating all of the exposed exterior walls with Foamax boards which were air-sealed with ZypFoam and further air-sealed with vapor barrier tape. Once the walls were properly insulated, our team of experts was then ready to encapsulate the crawlspace with our GoldSeal encapsulation system. They first started the installation of this system by laying down a drainage matt that will help with water mitigation if entered into the area. The matt was secured together by vapor barrier tape. Our team then completed the system by laying down our GoldSeal vapor barrier on top of the drainage matt in order to protect the space against any outside elements. Both were secured together by vapor barrier tape and will now protect this crawlspace from any affecting outside elements or temperature!
