GoldSeal Encapsulation System in Hyde Park, NY

Before the arrival of our insulation experts, this family was suffering from freezing cold floors and wanted a solution that would restore their peace of mind. Our team of insulation experts was quick to arrive and fix this uncomfortable home! 

In order to help fix the problem of freezing cold floors, our team insulated all of the exposed exterior walls with foamax boards that were air-sealed with ZypFoam and further air-sealed with vapor barrier tape. Our team of highly trained and experienced crawlspace insulators then installed our encapsulation system by first laying down the drainage matt on the dirt floor of the crawlspace to help with water mitigation. Our experts secured different parts of the drainage matt together by using vapor barrier tape. Once finished our experts completed this system by securing the GoldSeal vapor barrier on top of the drainage matt and secured both together with vapor barrier tape. This system will protect the space against any outside elements and will no longer let any unwanted or leaky air that was once affecting the overall temperature into the space!
