Reducing Costs to Heat and Cool Home in Albany, NY

Before the arrival of our insulation experts, this homeowner was suffering from high-cost energy bills and wanted a solution that would help reduce the costs to heat and cool his home. We sent one of our highly trained and experienced home comfort specialists to his home to provide a very thorough evaluation and find out why his home was costing him a fortune. During the evaluation, our home comfort specialist, Lukas, found that the attic was poorly insulated with old batt fiberglass insulation that needed to be upgraded. 

Our team of insulation experts was quick to arrive and help this homeowner reduce the cost of his bills! Our team first started with removing and properly disposing of all of the old insulation in the attic. Our team then air-sealed with ZypFoam to ensure leaky or unwanted air would no longer be able to get into the space. Once the attic was thoroughly air-sealed, our team then insulated the home up to an R-value of 60! Not only will our method improve the R-value of the home but our method will also help reduce costs since it's both energy efficient and cost-effective! This owner will now see a decrease in energy bills in the months to follow!
