Upgrading Crawlspace in New Paltz, NY!

Before our team of crawlspace insulators arrived, this crawlspace was cold, damp, and affecting the temperatures of the floors above! When our experts arrived, they first began with removing the plastic that was once used to protect the crawlspace flooring and ceiling from water and any temperature-affecting leaky or unwanted air. They then insulated the exposed exterior walls with Foamax boards which were air-sealed with ZypFoam. Once the walls were insulated, our experts were then ready to encapsulate the crawlspace and diminish water mitigation into the area. Our experts installed our GoldSeal Encapsulation System by first laying down a drainage matt that was secured by vapor barrier tape, they then completed the system by securing a vapor barrier on top with vapor barrier tape. The combination of these creates an impenetrable space against any outside elements and water! This crawlspace will no longer affect the temperature of the floors above!
