Global Dwelling was very thorough and knowledgeable from start to finish. They sealed and re-insulated my attic. The crew was friendly and helpful, even pointing out an unrelated issue they found while doing the work so I could get it repaired separately. So far, I'm happy with the results and it feels less drafty in my home.

Everyone I worked with - from Dan in sales, to John in operations, to Darius, Alfred, JD, and Mando on the install team - were knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. My project was finished to my complete satisfaction, and the team did a great job of cleaning up any mess they made inside and outside each day. They were eager to please and genuinely wanted to help make the project a complete success and get every detail to my satisfaction.Also a special thanks to the owner, John. John took the time to call me during the sales process and work with me on financing options to help make sure that I had a payment I was comfortable with each month. Beyond that, I was mostly impressed with John's dedication to his team. It was clear in our interactions that he wanted to help and do whatever he could to make sure that he had work for his crew to keep them busy and paid in a slow time of year for their industry. Very good experience with Global Dwelling! They removed all the old fiberglass insulation and replaced with cellulose. Put down all new decking which increased my attic storage capacity by 300%. They also sealed up any cracks/potential points of entry for critters before any work was done. Installed a Davis Hatch which has completely minimized any heat loss issues.It was a big and difficult job but the crew of Darius, Lester, & Nino completed the work in 3 days. They were professional and courteous keeping me informed every step of the way. They were a pleasure to work with and a definite asset to the company.

The sales person was polite, thorough, and honest. The installers did exactly what we were told they would, very friendly and kept the place clean and tidy. We are happy with the work, and our home is much warmer as a result!

My wife and I recently bought a cabin in the Catskills and couldn't be more excited about the place, except for the open crawl space beneath the house that had been left un-maintained since the house's construction some 35 years ago. The crawl space had been invaded by larger rodents (who had dug holes around the house's piers), the insulation on the sub-flooring had been torn down and gathered for nests by mice, and mold had formed on parts of the sub-flooring itself (see "before" pictures).In looking for someone to handle this highly uncomfortable and 'dirty' job of removing all old insulation, eliminating and providing preventative treatment for mold, and insulating and encapsulating our crawl space, my wife and I sought out four separate quotes, including one from our local town's general contractor who was honest and highly recommended. In the end, Global Dwelling won out on nearly every angle: response and communication, personalized service, timeliness of the completion of the work, financing options and cost, and—of course—quality of the work (see after pictures). The team at Global Dwelling not only got the job done weeks earlier than expected, but the owner, John Kotsides, was our initial contact and communicator, combined with professional and continual communication from Malea Tacti and John Moore. It sounds impossible, but all of our questions and requests were met with a clear set of options and an ease of 'doing business' that we are so grateful for. Global Dwelling is a top-rate insulation contractor in the Hudson Valley, all the way up to Lake George. Bouazza, Danielle and Michael were incredibly organized, clean, courteous and friendly when installing a 700-square foot attic space foam board insulation. With just the edges of the attic done, there was less drafts from the main level of house following the first day of the three-day construction. A regional supervisor Josh also stopped by the house to monitor progress, take photos, and ask if I as the customer had questions. Overall, Global Dwelling offers premium insulation services, which I think is certainly on the higher end of the spectrum, so it may be a solution for not everyone in upstate N.Y. I have noticed that the house is starting to use much less energy to keep warm this winter!

Global Dwelling did an outstanding job insulating our house. Global Dwelling handled the project well from start to finish. We are incredibly pleased with their work.More than a year has passed since the insulation project, which has allowed us to compare oil usage from before and after the project. This past year, we used nearly ONE-THIRD less oil—from 993 gallons from 2020-2021 to 683 gallons from 2021-2022. We have also noticed that our air conditioners don’t have to run as much to keep the house cool in the summer.
